Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Background: Coming from a business family Nikshit takes over the goals, vision & long-term roadmap for the company’s growth & competitive advantages.

Vision: He strongly feels the design creation, quality of the product and showcasing the drape, texture and weave in motion plays the most important role for the growth of the company.

S Murugan (CPO)

Co-founder & Chief Product Officer

Background: An avid creator since his late teens, Murugan designed six yards of heritage, culture and emotions to make the Silk sarees look unique from the common sarees.

Komal Nikshit (CIO)

Co-founder & Chief Investment Officer

Background: A highly skilled designer, Komal Nikshit joined her husband in 2017 and helped build the underlying strategies which needed improvement for the better development.

A Message from the Founder

To every person who holds a Sri Murugan Silk saree in their hands — know that you are holding a piece of someone's heart. Behind every thread is a weaver who woke up before sunrise to sit at their loom. Behind every color is a craftsperson who spent years perfecting their art.

When I started this journey on 18/03/2014, I had no idea it would grow into what it is today. But I always knew one thing as long as we keep the weaver's dignity at the center of everything, we cannot go wrong.

So many years have passed, and that belief has never wavered. Thank you for being part of this story. By choosing handloom, you are choosing to keep a beautiful tradition alive — and for that, I am eternally grateful.
