a decade of dedication, tradition, and the timeless art of handloom weaving.
Welcome to Sri Murugan Silk House, where every thread tells a story of heritage and grace. Founded in the heart of Coimbatore, our journey began with a simple love for India's most iconic garment the saree. We believe a saree is more than just fabric it is an emotion, a tradition passed down through generations, and a celebration of femininity. We work directly with skilled weavers and artisans across the country to bring you authentic, high-quality handlooms and silks. Whether you are looking for a saree or a lightweight drape for a casual day out, we curate every piece with care, keeping the modern Indian woman in mind.
"We never want to sell sarees rather we want to sell the experience of the six yards of heritage, culture, emotions and pure elegance of the hand made saree with all the traditions and feelings of the weaver."

To preserve, promote, and celebrate the timeless art of handloom silk weaving by creating exceptional quality sarees that connect tradition with contemporary life. We are committed to supporting our master weavers with fair livelihoods, sustainable practices, and platforms that honor their extraordinary skills.
To be recognized as India's most trusted handloom heritage brand — a name that stands for authenticity, quality, and the celebration of living craft traditions. We envision a future where handloom sarees are celebrated globally, and every artisan weaver receives the recognition and reward they deserve.
The handloom tradition we carry is not just a business legacy — it is a cultural treasure passed down through generations. Our weavers, many of whom have inherited their craft from parents and grandparents, bring unparalleled skill and devotion to every saree they create.
Unlike machine-made textiles, each handloom saree from Sri Murugan Silks is unique. The slight variations in pattern and texture are not imperfections — they are the signatures of human artistry, the marks that distinguish living craft from factory output.
"To wear a handloom saree is to carry a piece of India's living history — crafted by hands that have perfected their art across a lifetime of dedication."
— Founder, Sri Murugan Silk HouseWe are proud custodians of this heritage. Every thread we weave, every dye we mix, every pattern we create — all of it is done in service of this extraordinary tradition that makes Indian textiles celebrated across the world.
